Display Stamper - Easy Events (Scrapbook)

Stamps: Easy Events
Paper: Crumb Cake, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Designer Paper, Tangerine Tango
Ink: Stazon™
Accessories: Timeless Type Alphabet Dies, Dimensionals®, Regal Rose Grosgrain, Eyelet Border Punch

This is an 8x8 scrapbook page that I'd created for the Easy Events stamp set. The pic is of my gorgeous little girl, Maria. She was only 6 months old and the happiest baby ever (well, at least then :)) ! The ducks were all paper pieced using different pieces of patterned paper (except the beak - it was out of Tangerine Tango card stock).

I hope you like this page! Thanks for visiting :)

Colour Q Challenge #100

Stamps: Simply Soft (Hostess), Pursuit of Happiness
Paper: Basic Grey, Basic Black, Subtles DSP Stack, Whisper White
Ink: Stazon™, Basic Grey, Pink Pirouette Marker, Old Olive Marker
Accessories: Basic Grey Taffeta, Basic Pearls, Designer Buttons

This week, Arielle has something special cooked up! It's the 100th ColourQ challenge and we're hooking up with the "Clean and Simple" gals!! We're pairing up our fav colour combination with this week's Fall-to-Layout.

I chose to play with CQC#1. The very first challenge. I love pink, green, and grey! So of course, it wasn't very difficult to pick, eh?! There;s not much to tell stamping wise, but I did want to mention one thing. A few have asked how on earth the ribbon stays that way?! I only use Sticky strip and while once in a while it may not stay well, most of the time it does. I've learned that if you put the ribbon down once and really press it into the tape, you'll never have issues. If you put your ribbon on the tape and then pull it off, and repeat that several times, well, then you'll run into problems. If you want to avoid that, then I recommend the Sticky Pages from Stampin Up. You'll find them in your catties near the Big Shot stuff (vinyl sheets, wood, magnet, etc). THAT stuff will stay stuck forever!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed what you've seen!!! Please check out the ColourQ blog and see what the Royal Court has come up with :)

Display Stamper - Best Friends Forever (Scrapbook)

Stamps: Best Friends Forever
Paper: Sahara Sand, Basic Grey, Basic Black, Whisper White, So Saffron
Ink: Basic Grey, Basic Black
Accessories: Timeless Type die, Large Tag Punch, Black Grosgrain, Linen Thread, Dimensionals®, Mat Pack & Piercer

And here's the first of several scrapbook pages that I can share with you! You know I don't scrap much so it's very intimidating being told to create pages although I'm getting more and more comfortable with them since I do scrapping with my club every month! I love these pics of my two girls. They posed for me because I knew what I wanted to do for this stamp set!

Hope you like my page as much as I do :) Thanks for visiting!

Display Stamper - Easy Events (3D)

Stamps: Full of Life, Easy Events
Paper: Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Designer Series Paper Stack, Whisper White
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Versa Mark®, Baja Breeze
Accessories: Basic Rhinestones, Scallop Circle Punch, Dimensionals®, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Eyelet Border Punch, Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder, Olive Grosgrain

Here's another 3D object that I made for the display stamper gig :) I LOVE this one - out of all of them, this is the one I loved best. I'm not a huge fan of making 3D things, hence why you see them so little ... but I have to say that having to make them this time, I really enjoyed them! Anyway, I found this idea on Julie's Stamping Spot - thanks Julie! The cupcake on the front was paper pieced and embossed in parts. The rest is pretty self explanatory, right?

Hope you like this project! Thanks for visiting :)

Inkspirations Challenge #84

Stamps: Raining Flowers, Hand Penned ('11 Holiday Mini)
Paper: Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Concord Crush, Whisper White, In Colour DSP Stack
Ink: Stazon™, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi
Accessories: Scallop Trim Punch, Dimensionals®, White Taffeta, White Gel Pen

All right, a confession first - I could NOT handle making another purple colour challenge without green. So I added it. Just a teensy bit! Another confession - I "lifted" this layout from Tessa Wise. She had created something sorta similar and I borrowed some elements!

The sentiment is another new one that's coming in the upcoming Holiday Mini catalogue called "Hand Penned". There are four sentiments in this set and I absolutely adore the font. What do you think?

Create with Connie & Mary - 164

Stamps: Dasher, Winter Post, Bells and Boughs, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Old Olive, First Edition DSP, Brights DSP Stack
Ink: Early Espresso, Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip Craft
Accessories: Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder, Dimensionals®, Decorative Label Punch, Scallop Border Punch, Petals a Plenty Embossing Folder

Good morning! Another new Create with Connie and Mary challenge today! Another sketch and this time I used it once again for another Christmas card. I know it's odd to see Christmas cards in Augst but honestly, if I didn't start now I'd be SO sick of them because that's all I could do in November ...

I made this for a class I'd held last week. Again, it's mailable for a single stamp even though there is tons of depth. Hope you like my card today and are inspired to create something new and interesting! Please check out the challenge on the Create with Connie and Mary blog and see what the rest of the DT made too!!

Have a great day :)

Colour Q Challenge #99

Stamps: Friends Never Fade, Just Believe, Happiness Shared
Paper: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Whisper White, Old Olive
Ink: Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Island Indigo, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Corner Rounder, Designer Buttons, Chantilly Crochet Trim, Stripes Embossing Folder

Good morning! Welcome to another Colour Q challenge! Can you believe it's #99??? Wow! This week, the colours are bright (as usual) and certainly out of my comfort zone. I am learning to love bright colours thanks to Arielle! I started out by playing with a new embossing folder and stamp set. I embossed a piece of Old Olive card stock for the bottom using the Stripes embossing folder. Add this to a piece of stamped white cardstock and then cut out the stamped flowers. Et voilà, a card :)

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed what you've seen!!! Please check out the ColourQ blog and see what the Royal Court has come up with :)

Stamps: Best Friends Forever
Paper: Vellum Card Stock, Early Espresso, Designer Series Paper Stack, Very Vanilla
Ink: So Saffron, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Decorative Label Punch, Dimensionals®, Early Espresso Satin Ribbon

I'd seen this cute tea bag gift enclosure on Lauren Meader's blog a LONG long time ago and had saved the template to make it at some future date. Well, finally made it too! Super easy and fun and perfect gift for a good friend!

Hope you like it!

Display Stamper - Raining Flowers (3D)

Stamps: Raining Flowers, Friendly Phrases
Paper: Whisper White, Regal Rose
Ink: Regal Rose, Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz, Stazon™, Pink Pirouette, Basic Black
Accessories: Designer Button, Linen Thread, Black Satin, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch

Well, I thought I'd take you in a different direction from cards for a bit with all of my display stamper samples! There are tons, I know. I hope you are enjoying seeing them? For one of the 3D items for this set, I chose to make a simple 2-4-6-8 box. They are SO simple to put together and make great gifts that are easy and one of a kind!

You can see the flower detail a little better in this second pic (click to see it larger).

I hope you like my project! Thanks for visiting :)

Inkspirations Challenge #83

One of them is a new hostess set and I LOVE it :) I took them all out to play with the latest Inkspirations challenge - a sketch. Super fun sketch that I can't wait to see what you come up with too!!!

Create with Connie & Mary - 163

Stamps: Extreme Elements, Grunge Rock, Four Frames, Oval All
Paper: Crumb Cake, Pacific Point, So Saffron, Tangerine Tango
Ink: Pacific Point, So Saffron, Tangerine Tango, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Decorative Label Punch, DImensionals®, Basic Rhinestones, Pennant Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Twill Tape

Good morning! Another new Create with Connie and Mary challenge today! Wow, these colours are bright ... LOVE them! I was in an ice cream mood and I'd seen all these cute ice cream cones being made with the pennant punch and the cupcake punch. Now, I don't have the cupcake punch so I had to figure out an alternative for the ice cream. I ended up using my 1" circle punch, trimming off a bit of the bottom and rounding out that lower corner. Each scoop was stamped with the same image, different ink and then stacked with a rhinestone on top.

I stamped the background with images from the Extreme Elements stamp set in various inks and configuration. Turned out decent, eh? Hope you like my card today and are inspired to create something new and interesting! Please check out the challenge on the Create with Connie and Mary blog and see what the rest of the DT made too!!

Have a great day :)

Display Stamper - Best Friends Forever

Stamps: Woodgrain, Best Friends Forever, Petite Pairs
Paper: Island Indigo, Patterned Paper, Old Olive, Whisper White
Ink: Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Island Indigo
Accessories: Linen Thread, Dimensionals®, Modern Label Punch, Corner Rounder, Handheld Circle punch, Mat Pack & Piercer

This is the one card I was least confident of. It was the first one I created with the Best Friends Forever set. In comparison to the other cards I'd made, this one was the one I liked least ... however, it still represents this set well, don't you think? I'd made the sentiment tab using the modern label punch which I cut off the ends of and punch with a corner rounder.

Thanks for visiting!

Colour Q Challenge #98

Stamps: Fabulous Florets, Word Play
Paper: Soft Suede, Whisper White
Ink: Lucky Limeade, Versa Mark, Soft Suede, Tempting Turquoise, Island Indigo
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder

This week's ColourQ challenge is actually quite similar to one we did a little while ago although in this challenge there is suede. I didn't have any Vermuda Bay so I switched it for Turquoise. It's not the same but with no teal in the SU colour family, I kinda had to take what I could! Believe it or not, that main panel was actually white at one point. First, I stamped the leaf image with a combination of Versa Mark and Luck Limeade and then embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then, I stamped the flower image randomly and the sponged it over with Suede ink. I hand drew the lines around it, I think I should have used a darker marker, eh?

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed what you've seen!!! Please check out the ColourQ blog and see what the Royal Court has come up with :)

There for you

Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, Absolutely Fabulous
Paper: Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper, Very Vanilla card stock, Chocolate Chip card stock, Watercolour Paper, Crumb Cake card stock
Ink: Chocolate Chip craft and classic inks, Daffodil Delight classic ink, So Saffron classic ink, More Mustard classic ink
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Eyelet Border Punch, AquaPainter™, Dimensionals®, Vanilla Seam Binding, Little Leaves Sizzlit, Stampin’ Sponge

It's no secret -- I LOVE watercolouring and I LOVE this flower! I use it a lot and I could use it even more if I wasn't concerned about always keeping variety a part of my stamping diet :) If I didn't, I'd forget how to use other things, eh?

I had made this card a long time ago when I was making something for an Inkspirations challenge as well as a non-winner that I had made for the artisan award contest. It wasn't quite what I was going for (the sketch went a different direction than I did!) and so I set it aside to work on something else. It's a beautiful card, though!

I hope you like this one! Have yourself a fab day :)

Display Stamper - Easy Events

Stamps: Easy Events
Paper: Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Designer Paper Stacks
Ink: Stazon™, Whisper White, Versa Mark®, various for colouring
Accessories: Iridescent Ice embossing powder, Dimensionals®, Basic Pearls, Vanilla Seam Binding

I love this little stamp set! So easy to use - probably why SU called it "Easy Events"! I'm not sure if you can see it in this pic, it was really hard to photograph, but the large piece of vanilla card stock is embossed with the same main image using iridescent ice embossing powder. The main panel is covered with the same powder.

Anywho, hope you like it! Thanks for visiting :)
