Sometimes, I find it hard to believe how quickly a week flies. This past weekend, my hubster and I finally added some curb appeal to our home - it was in desperate need of appeal. Nice house, blah yard. Not anymore! here, check out my teeny little flower garden:
isn't it pretty? Of course, the shrubs are tiny but eventually, they'll grow - mid you, that may take forever since we have such a short growing season here. Oh well, it looks pretty and we're happy :)
Anywho, onto today's project! It's time for a new Colour Q challenge! These colours are absolutely beautiful together and I found that it didn't take me long at all to put something together. Now, some of you may not know, but my mum was recently diagnosed with cancer. and has begun her treatments recently (chemo and radiation). I want to send her a card each week to keep her spirits lifted high and so this card is made for her (she doesn't check my blog very often so I can share it, hee hee!). You'll likely see quite a few "thinking of you", "encouragement", etc cards over the next while!

I'm sure they'll knock your socks off :)
Have a fabulous day!
oh, here's a shot of the card inside! When I know who the recipient is, I generally stamp the inside as well :)

Absolutely beautiful, Renee! LOVE the debossed panel at the bottom, and the bright colours against all the clean, white space. This gorgeous card will I am sure lift your Mum's spirits. Such a special way to show your love and support. I wish your Mum well in her journey with the cancer treatment; lots of positive thoughts to you all. Christine xx
What a beautiful card Renee! I'm sure it will bring a smile to your mom's face.
Very beautiful Renee, I'm sure your Mom will love it. And your garden looks great from our place:) I also like the bushes you placed along the front of the house. Have a great day.
Great use of this week's colours :) Love the inside too! What a special treat for your mom to get each week. Love the front flower bed! Hubby and I did ours about 6 years ago and good on you for not over crowding it now as things grow big LOL! Our neighbours put too much in and each spring they had to make their flower beds bigger and move things around. Enjoy the curb appeal :)
So beautiful and perfect for spring!
The Scripture verse inside encouraged me! Is this a stamp or did you print it on the computer? Thanks for sharing!
Beth B.
I also liked the scripture inside and would like to know how you did it. I will pray for your mom. A card can be so encouraging. I started sending cards to my Aunt during her cancer treatment. I know she loves getting them.
So creative and so very beautifuL! Great job.
Gorgeous INSIDE and OUT! Love that stamp!!! Must pull it out soon...thanks for the reminder!
Your little flower bed turned out beautifully!
That card is fabulous! Love the dry embossing, the pop of colour against the white and how you used this stamp set. It looks very crisp!
Cindy
Just beautiful!
Renee, love the inside stamp! Who makes it?
Pretty card - think I'm gonna 'need' that cone flower stamp finally!
