Good morning! (or at least it is here!) Keesh has got another fabulous sketch cooked up for us this week. I ended up changing the oval to a rectangle and played with some new paper. LOVE this new paper! I don't care for all the sides of it, but when I see a paper pack that I love at least one side of each, it's definitely a keeper :)

Anywho, the main image was inked up with markers, stamped on the watercolour paper, and then I filled it in with an AquaPainter. Pretty simple. I sponged everything with my nicely cut sponge -- my son, Tias, found my scissors and cut the sponge with all sorts of fabulous grooves ... can you hear the sarcasm?! I was wondering what was wrong with the sponge and thought that perhaps it was a "done" one (meaning, I needed to cut a new brown wedge!) but alas, it was in decent shape until the scissors came near ...

I'm tired so I'm blathering, sorry! Please check out the challenge on the Inkspirations blog and see what the rest of the DT has created with this great sketch! I'd love to see what you make with it!!!

Thanks for visiting, have a great day!!

Now this is one awesome card, Renee! Love the way you've used those colours, and I really like the watercoloured panel ... and the torn edge, and stitching, and, and, and ...!!!

When I first read "scissors" in your post, I thought that Tias may have cut your stamped card. Maybe you could create a new technique using your altered sponge!

The good thing about having been to your place and meeting your family Renee, is I can just imagine Tias downstairs in your basement getting up to no good with your scissors! LOL! Love this colour combo, and the rustic feel to your creation, also the change in oval is great too! Thanks so much for your inspiration this week, Love Keesh x
