I had the hardest time ever with this colour challenge ... doesn't help that my mojo is missing and has been for a while. it's actually a struggle to stamp lately :( We've had a week and a half of sick children, one after the other ... and I'm feeling a tad overwhelmed by life at the moment but I don't want to disappoint you by not posting! Eventually, life will even itself out again but in the meantime, I'll do my best :)Anywho, you didn't come here to read about my self-pity-party, did you?! Like I said, these colours were a challenge -- and that's exactly what I LOVE about Colour Q! Arielle really challenges everyone to get out of their comfort zone with colour combinations and I must say that the DT has outdone themselves week after week.
For this card, I started out with another awesome challenge -- 2 Sketches 4 You. I am SO sad to see that this is their last sketch as I find that Kazan and Laura have the best, challenging sketches I have come across. They are never the same, they always have totally different elements, etc. Love love love them and I will so miss them. I do, however, wish them all the best as they seek out other avenues of creativity!
I really am blathering on, aren't I?! Feeling rather verbose, I suppose ... anyway (that's got to be my most used word ...), the sketch. Another challenging layout with the one element off to the top and side. I decided to watercolour the Elements of Style image and pop up two of the flowers just above the sentiment.

Your card is absolutely beautiful! Who could have thought to put together those colors? I like the way you used the top note. Also, I have Fresh Cuts and never use it so I always like to be inspired by new things to try with it. tfs
So sorry to hear you kids have been ill. Hoping you don't get it because when mommy is sick it's not a good thing! Love this colour combo and you did a great job using it. Hang in there ((hugs))
This card is absolutely beautiful, Renee! Your Mojo is not missing, you just think it is. Sorry about the kids. And yes it is so sad that the sketch challenge will be no more. It will always be my favorite one as well!

Renee, this is a beautiful card & I agree very challenging colors. You have actually used Fresh Cuts too which i find one of the hardest to incorporate into my cards. Must remember that I can use it as a BGround as you have here.
Hope you little ones are better & life gets less overwhelming very soon for you.
