This week's challenge twist comes from Sarah-Jane! Add buttons! So, when you go to make your creation using these colours, make sure you add buttons (only if you want to, of course!).I chose to use a new-to-me-yet-uninked stamp set called Countryside. I paired it with a bunch of other stamps too (as usual, eh?)! I lvoed this truck image the moment I saw it. Since I'm always trying to find something perfect for the guys in my life, this seemed to be perfect. None of my guys are really into golf, fishing, hunting, sports, etc ... makes it tough seeing as how SO many people think that that is "perfect for guys".
Anyway, I digress ... I started out creating the base layer of papers ... I hand stitched them together (sort of - glued them down first and then pierced holes and then stitched it!) and purposely wrecked the edges of the top piece for some fun? Then, I added the ribbon by accordioning it over some Sticky Strip and glue dots (to hold the loops down). The truck was watercoloured using an AquaPainter and the ink from the lids of the ink pads.
Good enough deets this time?! I guess I'm feeling a bit more chatty today :) Please check out the rest of the Inkspirations' teams creations (links are in my sidebar) and link up your creation on Keesh's blog!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I so appreciate all your visits and comments!!

Love it - especially the background stamping, the stitching and the torn edges. Yet another Renee VS masterpiece!!
HI Renee,
what a beautifully battered card - its suits the truck perfectly. Love your stitching and the folded ribbon especially.

Renee, this card is wonderful--so creative. I love the floss stitching and your use of the challenge colors but I especially love the ribbon treatment! I never thought to do that with the wide ribbon and it is sooo yummy! Your creations continue to amaze and inspire...thank you for sharing. :-)
Wow, this is just amazing - I'm really really loving this creation - love the image and the details you've added. Well done - you are such an inspiration.
This is such a fantastic masculine card! Often I think masculine cards are flat and kind of boring because we can't reach for the buttons, ribbon, and stitching, but you've used all three to make a stunning card that would be perfect for any guy! Love the watercolor effect on the stamped image, too!
This is FANTASTIC Renee! I love everything about it!
I love seeing you do the shabby chic style - it looks great!! Nice coloring on the truck, too :)
