Hey folks! I'm back with another card! This week's sketch is a fun one again. Keesh is changing up the challenges a little from now on -- and they're GOOD changes, hee hee! The winner of the challenge for the week will be given the opportunity to be the Guest Designer for the following weeks challenge! Whoo hoo! Who wouldn't want to be a guest DT? I know I always LOVE that opportunity and I'm sure you would too, eh? BUT, you gotta play in the challenges to get that spot!

Now onto my card this week! I never make square cards ... or rarely anyway. The main reason is that postage for square cards is way more and I'm too lazy to "fix" a regular envelope (so that the card doesn't flap around inside a too-big-envie). Anyways, all that to say that I changed it to a regular card size (5½" x 4¼")! I just got this stamp set as well so I had to ink it up. I combined this week's sketch with the inspiration challenge from the gals over at Stampin' Celebration (have you checked out their challenges?! fun fun fun!).

I wasn't really in a stamping mood until I started making this card. Remember me saying something about entering the Artisan Award again this year? Well, the winners have been listed and I wasn't one this year ... :( total bummer, but oh well ... what's a girl to do, eh? I'll have a bunch of FABULOUS artwork to show you, though! (or at least I thought so -- and still DO!).

Hope you like the card! Nice and clean stamping this week for you! Have a fabulous day :) Please check out the Inkspirations teams creations (links are in my sidebar) and link up yours on Keesh's blog!

Simply gorgeous! I love the embossed sentiment. Sets it off beautifully. What a shame you weren't chosen for the Artisan Awards. Your work is just stunning.

Hi Renee,

this is so soft and pretty. Your circle feature really catches the eye. The watercolour trio is really growing on me! Bad luck about the Artisan Award this year but you can be certain I will look forward to seeing your projects!

Fabulous card Renee! Love the colors you picked out from the inspiration piece. Bummer about the Artisan Award. You are so Artisan worthy. Some day it will be you. I, on the other hand, don't even bother trying. How lame is that?! Thanks for playing along with us at the SCIC!!! We appreciate your talented support! :)
