This week, there's a sketch from Just Add Ink and I combined it with the inspiration challenge from Stampin' Celebration and Shelli's "wedding" themed challenge because I really think this one would be beautiful as a wedding card. LOVE the purples and since soooooooooo many seem to be disappearing from the upcoming colour renovation, I'm using up some of my stash. I actually have 2 unused packages of Lavender Lace card stock ... I NEVER use this colour (so why do I have 2 pkgs?) ... I dunno why, though -- 'cause it looks GREAT with eggplant, don't you think?
Now, this card is also for my upcoming Fun Folds class on Thursday evening. We're going to be making 4 different folds and this'll be one of them. It's called an Easel card and they are sooooooooo simple to make and yet really have that "WOW" factor for card recipients. I'm not the hugest "can't figure this out" card maker -- by that I mean that the recipient needs me to walk them through opening a card ... BUT, this fold is super fun and super easy for both me and the recipient!

This is very pretty. What a great idea to use the same stamp as both a background and focal point! Love the way that you stamped the flower at the edge of the focal point and trimmed around it. I have followed your blog for awhile, and always enjoy your creations. Thanks for sharing!

Wow Renee, amazing card and interpretation of the inspiration piece. I absolutely love this set and the way you've used it. And as for the Lavendar Lace, there is a light at the end of the tunnel...I managed to use up the whole package I had hoarded!
