Sorry I was MIA for the past few days ... we were actually away for a week visiting my parents for my Dad's 60th birthday! We'd planned a fun surprise party which was difficult considering everyone had to drive at least 5 hours to get to my parents' place :) But, we managed and he was surprised!

Isn't this a gorgeous inspiration photo for this challenge?! I love the calm and elegant look in this pic. I took the colours as my inspiration along with the floral theme. My mother-in-law's birthday is coming up too so this will be just perfect for her!
I used some DSP that will no longer available as of tomorrow ... the Sending Love DSP is really quite fun. You can't see it in the catty, but there is texture, glitter and more in this pack!! Of course, I ended up using the non-textured/glittery side ... go figure!
Anywho, this is one of the three cards I'm making with my class this evening as we focus on the "women in our lives" whether that means a mum, a friend, a relative, or whomever!
Please check out the challenge on Kirsty's blog this week and visit the rest of the team to see what they've come up with this week!
Hope you like this card :) Thanks for visiting!

Gorgeous Renee, so soft and pretty!
Have always loved this flower set but haven't been able to stomach the price, especially the Canadian price. You've coloured it wonderfully and the DPs to go with it are great. Lovely card.
BEAUTIFUL and fresh Renee!!
Another outstanding card...must be the fresh Canadian air! Love the Vintage Vogue "dsp".
Anne
