My first digi page!

Sorry I haven't posted for the past couple of days but we were really really busy! We had quite a few out of town guests come this past weekend for Paul's ordination. I thought I'd create a digital scrap page using My Digital Studio showing just a couple pics of what I feel really show the most. I gotta play more with the program seeing as how this took me forever to make!

Have a great rest of your day!

ETA: not being able to respond to anonymous/email unavailable comments, I thought I'd respond here: yes, God is supposed to be capitalized but there is no capital "G" in the font I'd chosen to use ... neither is there any punctuation that I could find otherwise there'd be an ' after the word "God"

ok, for all you english people, I fixed it. I couldn't fix it earlier because the program was running slooooooooooooow and would crash but it's all fixed now thanks to some fabulous help at Stampin' Up! So, are you all happy? (I certainly am!)

Oh Renee...this must have been so powerful for all of you as a family! I just get goosebumps seeing your hubby be prayed over and commissioned to serve.

I have the digital software, but haven't loaded it yet. I need to clear some space on the hard-drive! I'm looking forward to playing with it!

Renee sometimes we forget the exactness (if that is a word...don't think it is, but it sounded right) of a moment as years pass by but you have captured the true essence of this special moment forever. Prayer is the most powerful thing we can do and when we pray with others it is awesome. The Lord is always pleased when we come to Him in prayer.
God bless you and your family,
Sally :)

I have attended a few of these ceremonies and am always so moved by it, I always cry...I think it is so awesome to be able to answer God's call and such a responsibility to be entrusted on that level to do God's work. You must be so proud to be a part of it as well. Thanks for sharing.

Renee - such a wonderful creation!

Unfortunately, it should be God's - with an apostrophe.

I love the way you had the picture for the background paper, it is a layout that portrays the emotions of the event very powerfully. BTW, I would just do the G and the ' in a different font. I have had to do that before when a certain letter in a font didn't look right.

Great job on the layout and the digital technique. I'm going to have to try it soon!
