Stamps: Winter Post, Four the Holidays, Lovely As A Tree Paper: Kraft, Real Red, Watercolour Paper
Ink: Stazon™, various for colouring, Chocolate Chip, Versa Mark®, Whisper White
Accessories: Snowflake Punch, Chocolate Satin, Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder, Dimensionals®
Finally found time to create something for a SplitCoast challenge. It seems like forever since I've done one because I always feel compelled to do it on the day they are issued and I rarely have that kind of time! This will be one of the cards we'll be making at one of the upcoming Christmas Cards classes later this month.
I started out by stamping the snowflake on the Real Red card stock using Whisper White and then with the Spritzer tool, I added splats of Chocolate Chip. The edges were sponged (as were the edges of everything else!). The main image was stamped and watercoloured as well as embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. I also embossed the punched snowflake for a little pop!
I tired to keep the card nice and flat for my Christmas theme this year -- MAILABILITY!! Otherwise, a card will cost $1.18 to mail. I don't mind doing that for the occasional card but when you're mailing 40 or so, that gets expensive quickly. I've discovered that anything on dimensionals will be fine, but keep the layers low for those parts.
Soooooooooooooo, as you can see, the card is light on layers but not on detail!! If you're interested in attending a class of mine, just email me! There's a "Contact Me" link up top!!

When I first saw your card, I thought it was nice. I have all the colors/stamp sets, so I set out to case it. OMG - it's even prettier in real life. It turned out so beautiful! I made several to send out to only the most card-worthy people I know. And I'm giving you credit as the designer.
