It's time for a new Inkspirations challenge, this time a colour challenge! These are great colours together and I had fun working with them. You will too! Just remember to link up your creation on Keesh's blog so we can see what you've done :)Onto my creation this week! I have a "Men"tally Challenged? class tonight and this will be one of the two cards we'll create. The main theme is all about the guys in our lives and creating that perfect card for them! I find these colours are perfect for any guy, don't you? I pulled out the Extreme stamps because they are fab for guys too and used the sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You. Do you see that neat border effect on the lower edge of the Old Olive card stock? I created that using the top of the Curly Label punch! Super easy to do: just line up the top of the punch with the edge of the paper. For easy straight cutting, I used the lowest curve point as my guide along the edge of the card stock. Let me know if you try this! I embossed both the skater dude and the sentiment with clear embossing powder after having stamped them in craft ink (the really wet kind).
Hope you like my card this week! Please check out my fellow Inkspirations DT to see what they've made!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!!

On a totally different topic, my husband and I heard an amazing speaker last night. His name is Brett Ullman and he speaks about things that are hard, things that are not easy to hear. Things like what is affecting our youth like divorce, premarital sex, cutting, suicide, etc. Man ... it's not that I'm drastically affected personally by those particular issues but I am affected by how I as a parent am influential on the actions of my children. He speaks from a Christian worldview and I encourage you to check his website and ministry out.

Renee, I LOVE this! I'm in awe of your creative talents, my dear! I have great need for 'male' cards, and love making them; thanks for the inspiration (even though I lament that we don't have the 'extreme' series of stamps in Australia yet). Fantastic card.
this is an awesome 'extreme series' card, very impressive!
