Wild About You

How on earth do people come up with creative titles for their blog posts?! Well, I usually just name it by the sentiment or stamp set ... not so creative that way :) Anyways, here's a fun card I made using the set "Wild About You". I am loving these little animals! Soooooooo, the details: well, I created faux grass by painstakingly snipping little snips into a strip of designer series paper (DSP). I wish I had my sister's fringer (she has one for paper quilling). She offered to fringe a whack of paper for me but I don't do well with pre-done stuff, it doesn't get touched! I also used the Texturz Backgrounds to emboss the white cardstock that the elephant is on.

Hope you like it!

LOL...I'm not creative when it comes to the title of my posts either.

I really like how the elephant is placed, because he's looking out of the corner of his eye, he looks like he's up to something! The background colour makes the animals pop out! Great card!

Hi there! I had to comment because not only is the card cute but I wanted to share a tip I've learned since I've become interested in quilling (and I don't have a fringer). You can use a big office bull dog clip (like the one in this link from Office Depot-you can buy it in any office supply store...http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/474957/Office-Depot-Brand-Color-Bulldog-Clip/

Anyway the clip is used to stop the snipping so it looks even all the way across your strip. You're still doing it by hand, but maybe it'll help you get the look you want a little more easily?

Not sure if this helped, but thought I'd share...Thanks for the great projects you post...
