Inspiration Challenge

Thursday, May 15, 2008

I've been blog hopping and came once again to Kristina Werner's blog. She is amazing. I love her video's and her style is awesome. Anyways, I've seen her inspiration challenges and have been meaning to do them but this is the first one I did. I saved the other pics to my computer so I can do them later!! This is colour inspiration #9: So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, and Olive Green. I absolutely LOVE these colours together even though it's a lot of colour! So, off I went with this pic in mind ... my parents are moving so I thought a moving card would be good! I hadn't used this wheel that I'd ordered on my last order so I pulled it out along with the retired All Year Cheer III for the sentiment. I wheeled in Stazon on Whisper White and then coloured in with markers and used my Aquapainter™ for some of it. So, is this a good use of the colours or not?

Stamps: Neighborhood Jumbo Wheel, All Year Cheer III
Paper: Old Olive, Real Red Prints DSP, So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink: various markers, Stazon™
Accessories: Scallop Punch, 1-3/8", 1-1/4", 1" Circle Punches, Pumpkin Pie Striped Grosgrain, Aquapainter

I love those house stamps. Congratulations on getting into the top 10 cards on the challenge. I only managed to make the '10 randomly picked', but am still pleased with that!

I *love* this card! It totally makes me want to go out and buy the house wheel to go with my All in the Family - and it makes me like this week's color challenge pallette - which I actually didn't like when I first saw just the colors posted, but your card made me *love* it!! Wow!
