Some of you have had questions about the things I've used for different storage in my craft room (posted here). I thought I'd put pics up of them here. Each picture is a link to the IKEA Canada website. All of the furniture is in a Birch finish.

- The wall cabinets are called Vattern-Moren. Vattern for the cabinet system, Moren for the door style. The units I chose are 21cm (8.5") deep and 67cm (27") high. There are two shelves in each unit. I have four of these and it houses all my stamps. I think I'd have to purchase another unit if I were to purchase many more stamps ...
- My desks. I have three of them attached together (thanks to my handy hubby!), they are Vika Amon.
- The legs for the desks ... vika curry. Because my husband attached all the desks together, we were able to remove one leg from the corner so I don't nail my leg on it every time I turn around!
My Wall Hanging System ...
The original rods I purchased have since been discontinued, but I have purchased a couple of the new rods that replaced that system and they work just as well for the same things. The rails are called Kroken and come in two different lengths. I have punches, ribbon, and all sorts of things hanging on them. My ribbon is on a piece of dowelling that is held on the rail with the S-hooks that you can purchase also from IKEA. You can see a few pics of different things I've gotten from IKEA for housing some things. I have two of the silver cutlery stands for scissors and rulers, the white hanging container for a mish mash of stuff, a wire basket that has little bottles of embellishments, a paper towel holder. Not pictured is the shelves that hold my cuttlebug and accessories. They are also ones that had been discontinued. The ones that are in the Kroken line hang a bit different but I'd assume they'd serve the same purpose.

Other stuff ...
I have the Expedit bookshelf on the opposite wall that holds all sorts of stuff (cardstock, magazines, books, altered stuff, etc). IKEA came out this year with inserts for these shelves which I purchased two of for my glues, glitter, wire ... I have a few of the boxes that fit perfectly in a cubby and they have all manner of things to be altered!

Wall Shelf
The shelves that are in an "L" shape are from the Lack series. I have two each of the two different lengths available. The nice thing about these shelves is that the mounting brackets are hidden inside the shelf. They are deep enough to hold a magazine holder (so they are deeper than the cabinets). The other pics are of things I have used on the shelf for other storage. I have the CD boxes for my unmounted stamps, the cheapo magazine holders that I've begun to re-cover with designer paper...

I hope that this answers any questions you may have! Feel free to ask if you need more info!!

Ahhhh....*drool, drool*
Very cool!
Thank you so much for providing all of the deets for your WONDERFUL!!! stamping room. I am in awe! In fact, I'm doing my own planning of what i want, and seeing as how inexpensive IKEA is, I'm planning something very close to how your room is layed out...and hubby is actually on board. Especially as I'm sharing prices with him! (now, we don't have an IKEA close to us by any means...it's gonna be a weekend trip, but we're up for the challenge!) My question to you...
I've tried setting eyelets on a plastic folding table, and I don't know if it's because of the give in the table, but I can't get them to set. I have to move to my wooden butcher block kitchen table. I think I saw where you have a cropodile, so it may not be an issue. But, if you set eyelets with a silent setter or an automatic setter, do you have a problem on this desk? I figured it wouldn't be, but wanted a first hand opinion. Thanks for all of the work of sharing! I know it had to take some time, and with the # of kiddos you have, especially a newborn (congrats, btw) time is something that doesn't come very easily!
Sorry to ramble on so much. I'm excited...as you can tell! TFS!
