Craft Room

**actually, it's been redone yet again!! see THIS post for the latest edition!!**

Well, I've done it again. I wasn't too happy with the way I put the shelves up when I redid my space the last time. When my hubby came home from school, he agreed with me. The shelves were just too close to the desk as well as to each other so it made the space look messy and crowded. So, I began to look at my second-most favourite magazine, the IKEA catalogue!! I found some cabinets that worked perfectly for housing all my stamps as well as hiding them. These particular ones are from the Vättern/Anordna system . They are actually a bathroom cabinet system that are just the perfect depth for Stampin' Up!'s stamp boxes. I absolutely love these cabinets!

So, do you think I could do any more to organize this? I sure hope not ...

I'm always trying to re-shape & organize my stamping space to make the best use of it. I love your IKEA systems, especially what I assume are the kitchen rods holding your ribbon & punches! It also looks like you have clear floor space to roll from one end of the area to the other; another great time saver! :) The little shelves are cool too; how deep are they? Your stamp room looks delightfully inviting & I'm glad I stopped in! Thanks for sharing it!

I agree with Sharon...your stamping room looks great...lots of space to work and it looks very bright. Are the punches on kitchen rods? Where are they from? Love the look of them.

I have the same comment as the ones before. What is the things holding your punches and ribbon. I was going to have my husband build me a custom shelf, but I think this would work much better. Love the way you've organized everything else too. Thanks for sharing!

How lucky to have so much counter/work space. I often use my cutter on my lap because I have no space on the table to put it. Love the organization of the whole space.

Your space is amazing! My hubby surprised me one day by walking into our computer/Nascar room and saying, "So, do you want this to be your craft room?" I almost fell off the chair!!! LOL We are just beginning the planning and your room has given me some great food for thought. I never thought about wall cabinets--we have a lot of shelves he built for his Nascar collectibles that we were going to repurpose. But I think I may run to Ikea and take a look at the cabinets you used. They really make the space look clean. I only hope my space turns out half as bright and organized as yours! Thanks so much for sharing! Oh, and I'm definintely adding your blog to my Favs file! - Susan :-)

I'm totally in love with your space. Love it!!! I'm in the process of remodeling a spare bedroom to a stamp room, still thinking of color. But I can't wait to make it to IKEA and start shopping. Love your space :o)
