Aren't I the lucky gal?! I've been saving up for this bookshelf for quite a while. I love the look and the amount it can store! It's called Expedit from IKEA (my fav store, can you tell?). We went to the city yesterday (Monday) after dropping our two oldest off at school. A two hour drive one way and a 3 o'clock home deadline do not make for a long shopping experience, let me tell you ... But, we managed to get to IKEA and purchase the "few" things I wanted as well as do a few other things while in town, all without being too late! I had also purchased these boxes from IKEA that fit perfectly inside of the cube. I got them in three colours (green, red, and white). They hold a LOT of stuff. I've got all of my "to-be altered" items in most of the boxes, *blush* I have way too many things waiting to be altered! I was so impressed that I was able to unload: a bookshelf, two large wire racks, and two rolling carts onto the new shelf! Now, I don't have a ton of room left, but that's okay. I'd like to use what I have before I can get more! I'd better get busy ...

Short answer: yesLong answer: I can't stand mess and clutter. In order for me to do anything crafty, my space has to be clean otherwise I get WAY too distracted and get nothing done. In our first house, I only had the dining room table that I had to set up and clean up every time I sat down. I hated it. It took me way too long to put things where I wanted them ... So, now I have a space where everything is in it's place and it GOES BACK there!! :)

I agrre. I also can not stand clutter. My space is always neat and organized before, during and after I stamp.

I'm so jealous!!! I'm in the unfinished basement just getting by with stuff that is very low cost (crates, etc..) I can't wait to have a great room like yours!!! It looks fab!!!

wow, wow, wow~!! I soooooo want a cubed bookcase now. I've seen a couple now and well, they defintely are the way to go.
I also have to have a clean stamp room, other yep, it does distract me from working. Oh and the kiddos like to pick things up. :)
